Hmm I have an sd 4 I use with RH. I have used several versions of rh from IIRC .89 to the current one.
seems like each one has its own personality. And sometime seems like it connects when it wants to.

Just before I upgraded to the current version RH was giving false sensor readings . when the print ended rh was showing the extruder at full temp. Even though it was in fact cooling off.

I assume you have manual control of the sd2 under RH.
Are you using the same computer and the same version of RH for both machines?

Sounds like a preset g code or RH setting is holding things up.

Hi Guys,

After playing and upgrading my SD3, I had an offer to buy a SD2, which I picked up, and boy, was she in poor shape. The power cable had slipped from the electronics board, the rails were caked with oil, and the wooden bed was cracked.

After a few hours tweeting and cleaning, I got everything up and working, the rails cleaned and lubed, and the extruder working.

I have been trying to print a calibration cube, and used RH to connect to the SD2. Now I have the bed heated, the extruder at temp, but nothing happens. I sliced the cube within RH with slicer, and I tried Cura which I use with my SD3. No luck.

I'm not sure if the SD2 works like the 3, which is triggered when the hotness tits the target temperature, but I have the test running for 30 minutes and the print won't launch.

Any ideas? Anyone ever seen this before? Love an idea where to look.

Thanks in advance...

-Skyler101
