<![CDATA[SoliForum - 3D Printing Community — Error 0014 - Extruder Reached Max Safety Limit Fixed]]> 2015-08-18T03:30:09Z PunBB https://www.soliforum.com/topic/12097/error-0014-extruder-reached-max-safety-limit-fixed/ <![CDATA[Error 0014 - Extruder Reached Max Safety Limit Fixed]]> Just thought I would share my recent debacle.  I ended up with 0014 error in the middle of the print the other day.  So after reading the problems on here, I checked the wires going into the hot end and they appeared to be fine.  Ordered a new extruder which came in today.  Installed it and still received the error.  XYZ also shipped new wiring harnesses for the extruder so I began swapping them out and found that after replacing both the white wired harness and the multi colored harness the issue was repaired.  I didn't find or smell anything burnt so my only guess is that the wires going into the connectors came loose.  I will know more when I get the time to inspect them closer. 

Looks like I will have an spare extruder now.  lol  I had one of the first gen Da Vinci 1.0 so the new extruder looked to have some of the bugs worked out.  Figured it was upgrade to say the least. LOL.
