I had been playing with Netfabb and Meshlab locally (non-cloud) and even after Netfabb fixing a few things it still was wonky. What's odd is I ended up having to resize part of it and it exported and sliced without issue, so obviously the STL exporter in SketchUp was doing something weird. All working now and I have a horizontal spool holder for my SD (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:46272)

That plugin is quite wonky.
