Hi Tin,
I think there are multiple parts of your response that deserve a response.
Someone would perhaps want to play music on a 3D printer because it would be a fun project, why do people play music on Tesla coils? which I'm almost certain that's the reason that most people who are here are here. I am completely aware I can do this with a stepper motor, but I want to do this with a Gcode that other people can load and have fun themselves! I was just curious on where to start, if you actually do a LITTLE more research you can find that a surprisingly large amount of people do it or have so it's not a CRAZY response. I guess I'm just looking for a way to make 3D Printing a little more exciting, innovative and fun for everyone. I don't mean to come across as rude, although I feel as I'm writing this it will.

Thanks,
Ang_Prints

Not sure why one would want to use a 3d printer to play music they are for 3d printing. That said if you realy want play music on stepper motors .motors and arduino are cheap enough and a google search of steper motor music will produce many links of it being done and how to.
http://makezine.com/2009/06/23/stepper-motor-music/
Tin

Hi all, first let me say if you haven't seen my introduction post check it out! http://www.soliforum.com/topic/12012/hello-from-ohio/
Secondly, I was wondering if it's possible to do either of the following or if it has been done by someone.
Either (A) Play music through the onboard buzzer
Or (B) Play music with the stepper motors

I understand, that B is most likely very feasible but how would one have to go about doing it? After thinking about it for a while I came to the conclusion that the only way for me to do it was manually enter speeds and co-ordinates in GCODE. But of course, if I KNEW what I was doing I wouldn't be asking for suggestions and help and I would just post my findings.

Thanks,
Ang_Prints
