I have gone through this many times with the Rumba. This is the only way to get the firmware to act identically to what you expect (that I have found). Any of those changes affect other areas of the firmware so you need to feed it the information it expects.
At least try it so I know if that fixes it. If I am wrong than I would like to discuss your changes in detail in order to understand better.
-I downloaded the firmware from a link you posted earlier on this thread: http://www.soliforum.com/topic/6670/rum … nd-wiring/ but I haven't changed any endstop logic from that.
