Several 3D software tools produce huge numbers of polygons. Meshmixer does a good job of reducing polygons before slicing. Try different percentages of reduction and use the UnDo key if details disappear.

Only way around it is to get a faster computer or maybe try a different slicer which is out of the question on a stock Da Vinci.
