We don't even know what printer/hotend they are talking about, neither is the description of the solution or the problem for that matter sufficient to be at all useful. It should seal against the nozzle unless either has been damaged. There should be no need for seal tape.

1 Remove the nozzle with the wrench in the tool box.


2 Wining one layer PTFE thread seal tape on the tube.


3 Screw the nozzle into the hot end tightly but gently.
