			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Your first layer should be very smooshed. Something on the order of only being .15mm or less thick.&nbsp; If it is not smooshed it will not adhere well and your print could break loose and ruin your job. As for setting a Z offset you can always lower the bed evenly using something thicker and not run the built in calibration. But that will make your first layer too thick then. If layers above the first layer look bad then the problem lies elsewhere and not in the first layer.</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Adding a z offset to stock xyzware?]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Title is pretty self explanatory, is this this possible or do i need to physically offset the table lower using something thicker than paper to calibrate it lower?</p><p>I tried opening the code that the xyzware slicer generates but that was a non starter, any help appreciated.</p><p>Edit- to explain myself i get to much &quot;smooshing&quot; on the bottom few layers and i have been trying to print some thin items and they turn into fat ugly versions of themselves.&nbsp; Doesn&#039;t matter if i use ABS or PLA.&nbsp; Also i am using blue tape on my bed which adds a bit of height.</p>]]></content>
