No, I wanted to switch to the E3D V6 hotend because its a lot better and easier to do maintenance on. So with the new way I mounted the hotend I was about to remove the extruder and make it a Bowden. The reason I wanted Bowden over direct was to get the weight off the carriage so that I could print faster.

Ok guys i could use a little help here

I have switched over to http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:594392, that is what i am using now.
With that installed i left old carriage together and mounded it on the side of the printer to use as a bowden style extruder. All i had to do was take the hotend off and the put a quick connect on so i could get the tube to connect to the extruder. I have the spool mounted on the handle and it feed directly into the extruder. I can load the filament in and it pushed freely to the hotend and then i release the tensioner on the extruder so it can feed the filament in. I press the load filament and it comes out the nozzle just fine.

I am still using stock software and firmware because i have the aoi. When i go to print it does the line on the right side of the bed them moves over to print and it will start printing for a little bit. Then after the first layer it will not extrude after that. So I go clean off the gears on the extruder and put it all back together and i get the same issue. The teeth stay clean and its able to maintain good grip on the fillament but when it goes to print the extruder stepper motor is not really turning to feed the filament out but it will turn backwards to keep from oozing while it travels.

Does anyone have any idea why i am having this issue and what is causing it? The only thing that i can think of is when you turn the stepper up right it does this, because I did not have this issue until i mounded it vertically.
