Oh that's cool, I spent quite some hours carefully adjusting the bed and adjusting backlash etc. Things print square and very well at .2 layer height and 1.05 extrusion multiplier. Thanks and overall this mod was totally worth it.

No real argument, there's actual science behind the formula. If you have a .4 nozzle then set the nozzle diameter to .4
Then use a standard extrusion width of .48 for top, bottom and infill you may want to tweak those based on results.
For a bottom layer I like (in this example) to use .36 and same for the top.
This sets the tool path slightly narrower to create a better bond to the plate and a nicer finish for the top.
For infill you can use this to manipulate things to your advantage. For example if it seems to be over or under extruding in a 100% infill setting. Otherwise just set it to .48 also.

Aight thanks, looks like you contribute alot around which is pretty cool. The nozzle on this printer says .4 people argue between setting it to .48 or .4 or .45 honestly I'll try these settings and leave the extruder at .4.

I don't have a DaVinci but have used that with the same impact on many other printers. I don't know why but for some reason version 1.1.7 and higher I have had some issues in this area. I think it is some little bug of Slic3r. So if it doesn't do what you'd expect try an earlier release. I prefer 1.0.0RC3

The software is such an upgrade and the menus and features just make this printer 10x better(the layer quality and just overall speed), I got it calibrated and it works amazing, first print shown below, Ok I just was wondering if anyone knew how to change the extrusion width in repetier host/slic3r settings. It works good but the bottom and top layers have a slight gap between them and I know there is a setting somewhere. Thanks and I'm happy to help anyone who wants to switch to repetier get set up.
