For me, raising the temp of the hot end from my previous 205 up to 215 seemed to make the layer adhesion better and the splitting stopped happening (this was with my solidoodle 2 and a closed case to keep the temps uniform).

That would cause a layer shift due to it restricting head movement. It would not cause seperation. Thr only that causes this is poor adhesion or uneven cooling.

On a DaVinci opening or leaving the door open on such a print could also cause whats pictured.

Usually 3rd party filament requires temps of 230 or more. Only XYZ stock is specially made to work at 190 to 210.

I get the impression you are not running XYZware since you can change settings. Printed objrcts should not be too easy to break. Sounds like your temperature is too low to me. Set it for 235 and try another print.

If it does not need to be water tight or with stand force the reduce your infill to 20%. What you are seeing is stress cracks due to uneven cooling.  You need to keep the overall temp of the object the same so it can cool evenly.

Another thing to try if you are running other than stock software is to raise your temp to get a better layer bond. Try 5 to 10 degrees higher.

You will need to post your settings you are using and maybe an image of your object.
