It's going back tomorrow and I have ordered a different make and model. £300 more but the cheap little printer did the trick of exciting the family enough to allow me to splash out on a better printer.

I had to replace 3 of the bearing mounts on my 1.0 within the first few weeks.
I would doubt it's just a problem in the UK.

The one they have at TWIT seems to work and there most be some others that do but maybe we in the UK, apart from the one guy, have a bad batch or something. It will be interesting to see what the supplier has to say when then get to work on the message I have sent them.

You might want to read through the threads although based on what I have read here it seems he is the only one that has one that works.
