http://www.mcmaster.com/#glass-stock/=x7hnrp has borosilicate glass for about $25 for a 8 x 8 piece. choice of 1/8, 3/16, 1/4 for that price . Other sizes and thickness available.
I print with PLA and and use aqua net hair spray.

It's more expensive, but tougher. I have heard of one or two people accidentally pulling chips off of the cheaper plate glass when taking parts off the table.

Would the replacements for the SD4 work fine with the Press? They are 8x8 whereas the Press plate is longer, but I don't think it actually needs glass at the very back.
