I decided to cut up the shipping box and make some walls. Then I attached them with some brown packing tape. Its not going to win any beauty contests but it keeps heat in.

I bet it does get nice and toasty in there. I don't have the shipping box any more, other wise I would do that too. I have to admit, I LOL'd pretty hard when I saw the first picture of your enclosure. I was expecting card board panels to be adhered to the printer, but just slipping the entire box over like a big glove is way better!

I have the metal case and it gets warm. I'm running my bed at 70c and believe I can go much lower in time.
