problem solved- I was doing the mechanical set up- It would appear that Repetier wants to see a resistance on the hot-head temp monitor otherwise it stops operating. I just plugged a resistance across the TO pins and hey-presto...

I have seen a few posts about this but not spotted the solution yet.

Arduino Mega 2560 board/ Ramps 1.4 Repetier 1.0.6 .

Communication is oK- Pronterface has total control (but its not a user friendly interface) - the Repetier will drive the all the motors correctly to their Home position and respond to the end stop switches-, The fan and other manual controls are working- but the manual position control are doing nothing. Nor is anything moving if I manually load a G code sequence and run it, or manually feed single g code instructions- G1 X2.00 ...or whatever. However, using G28 X, Y or Z (or Just G28) the machine will correctly go back to park position. So the hardware is OK,

I've also confirmed with a scope all the correct pulses are present when parking- but a big nothing for any other operation.

This would appear to be an issue with Repetier and the firmware (yes - I have tried many configurations tweeks in the config.H file and the 115200 baud rate!)

Very strange....I'm using Arduino Mega 2560/ Ramps 1.4/ Repetier 1.0.6 and marlin firmware-

Has anyone wlese had this kind of issue? Any help out there?
