I think that it had already printed the outline of a white rectangle with rounded edges, which sort of looks like another pane of glass. Is that what you mean?

What's even more strange that it is in a commercial for how environmentally conscious apple is yet they use a printer that can only print ABS plastic. I wonder if they almost just bought it just for the commercial. I cannot even imagine that apple would use on for any other purpose than donating them, they are just not made for actual prototyping

It just does not make sense that they would show a printer that is not nearly as accurate as the $300,000+ machines they need to get the accuracy. Everyone, apple manufacture their prototypes on a DaVinci 1.0, I guess their accuracy is a .1 micron layer height haha. Just was intrigued that they showed it on a ad video.
