			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>That is a Printerboard and if your motors work fine don&#039;t touch the VREF&#039;s.&nbsp; You will end up adjusting the extruder VREF once you install the e3d.&nbsp; Those voltages are just a reference/starting point.&nbsp; Proper adjustment will require some fine tuning by ear.</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Vref, how close to 1.5V should it be?]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>So my SD4 is getting ready for the First great Rebuild (Lawsy carriages, E3D hotend, etc) and I&#039;ve seen some mention of Vref lately, so I thought I&#039;d check.</p><p>So my board looks like:</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://geekho.com/push/SD4Board.jpg" alt="http://geekho.com/push/SD4Board.jpg" /></span></p><p>(Well, without the camera shake), and the Vref readings from left to right (X,Y,Z,E) are:</p><p>1.634<br />1.631<br />1.665<br />1.553</p><p>Are those close enough to the correct(?) values of 1.5 that I should leave them?&nbsp; Are they high because Solidoodle carefully (ha!) tweaked them for proper operation with this particular printer?&nbsp; Should I leave them alone or set them to 1.5?</p><p>And what board is this called, so I know how to reference it when I ask about firmware updates for the E3D hotend?</p><p>Thanks!</p>]]></content>
