			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p><strong>It&#039;s simple math...</strong><br /><span class="bbu">First approach</span> is simply linear, as follows:<br />240m / 600gr&nbsp; = Length /&nbsp; 1000gr<br />Therefore,<br /><strong>Length = 400m</strong></p><p><span class="bbu">The real math</span>, as follows:<br />Density = Mass / Volume<br />ABS density = 1.05 kg/m3<br />For a filament of 1.75mm diameter,</p><p>Volume = Mass / Density = 1kg/1.05kg/m3&nbsp; = 0.9524 m3 (952.4mm)<br />Volume also equals Area times Length,<br />Therefore,<br />Length = 952.4mm * 4 /pi/(1.75mm)2<br /><strong>Length = 396m</strong>&nbsp; (compared to 400m from linear approach)</p><p>This compares well with actual amount...</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;ve got a da Vinci 1.0, and one of my print cartages is almost empty. I decided to try and have the chip to use a 1kg spool. I was wondering if anyone has an idea of how many meters of filament is on a 1kg spool? I contacted the company I bought the spool from, but they had no clue.</p>]]></content>
