S3D works with the stock firmware. You can set it to print one part completely before printing the other. However you need to space them far enough apart so that it the extruder does not crash into the printed part. Not only do you need to clear the X/Y axises, but also the Z axis.

I've seen this feature as available in Simplify3D, but have never used it. It appears dependent on using different "processes" (basically, print settings) for different models. If you don't already own Simplify3D, this may not be much help as it's a $140 purchase.

All 3d printers print multiple items at the same time unless their software allows to do separately. The issue with separate printing is the gantry could hit the other object. Ultimakers official software is Cura which may run your Da Vinci depending on which version firmware you are running. I run mine with the latest Cura but I also have flashed to Repetier firmware.

Sorry if it is a stupid question... but I saw that Ultimaker can receive this command to print one piece and after finish, the bed can up and start the same process with the second piece. I hate the way Da Vinci print, the quality printing two pieces at the same time is not the same.
