the installation procedure has not changed but just follw the instructions step by step.
Thats the easiest way.

I did the same and it works. Of course I can't test it fully because I have no printer.
The zip file has about 77MB and the old version had 107MB which means they changed it significant.

Parallel I'm preparing my "old" DELL mini (Win XP Pro) maybe I'm using this netbook with the printer permanently?

i trashed everything and downloaded the software again today and i can get skeinforge to load when i open pronterface.command and not try to run the .app.for some reason i thought pronterface.command was just part of the installation process. only issue now is that Skeinforge and the 2 windows when you load the .stl are stuck wherever they pop up and i cant move them but thats trivial.

im in the same boat except on Os 10.6.8
in pronterface when i go to slicing settings i get:

Hi,

I ordered my printer today and I think I will have a few weeks to fix the problem.

I tried to install Solidoodle 4.2 Macinstall package on my MacBookAir (11") OS= Mountain Lion 10.8

- pronterface-mac-Mar2012.app I can start the software but I get error messages:
Entering skeinforge settings: /Applications/Slic3r.app/Contents/MacOS/slic3r
--load config.ini --ignore-nonexistent-config Skeinforge execution failed: [Errno 2] No such file or directory
- wxPython2-1.8-osx-unicode-2.8.12.1-universal-py2.7 is running as far as I can check.

Is anybody her using a MBA with OS X 10.8?
