This ensures you are getting the correct voltage through the entire board rather than just that one component.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Yeah, I think that is right. Mostly what I did was adjust the voltage while I was printing something, and then listen to see when it started to sound better.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Ok. So. I could do the listening for bad noises then back it off a bit method. Lol. Or if I wanted to check it with a voltmeter i would just put the probes on the trimpot itself. One on each leg on the side of the trimpot that has 2 legs not the opposite which has 1. </p><p>Again, if this seems like a stupid question, this is my first rodeo.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>*shrug* I don&#039;t really know. I just upped mine until it started printing more smoothly. I don&#039;t really know what the voltage is.</p><p>From what I can see in that image, that is actually a kind of silly way to adjust the voltage. That green chip is the current sense resistor, which is something like a 0.3 Ohm resistor to ground. The other probe looks like it is on the reference voltage, which is what you really care about. Ideally you would be going from a direct ground to the reference line.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>you may be onto something though, i just took the board back out and put a voltmeter on the trimpot closest to the E plug on the board and im only getting 1.037v, i believe i read somewhere that the voltage for that should be 1.5v.&nbsp; </p><p>ill have to mess with it more tomorrow after work.&nbsp; but hopefully that pans out to be the issue.&nbsp; strange that it wasnt an issue for the first few weeks that i had the printer, and now it is.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>i have not, i did however just take the board out and take an ohm meter to the extruder harness to make sure there was a connection and the meter made a nice solid &#039;beep&#039; on each attempt so im ruling out that i need to re solder the connectors on the stepper end of the harness as i read elsewhere thats been an issue that has popped up for some.&nbsp; </p><p>i see the trimpots on the board, but ill be honest and say im not sure which one is the one i would adjust for the extruder stepper.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>its worse at a lower temp, (but just to make sure, i just cleaned everything out and re assembled and it is indeed much worse) i was instructed to put it at a higher temp by another press user.&nbsp; also, im quite sure 250c was the default print temp for soliprint no?&nbsp; i dont use it.</p>]]></content>
