Ye I came across that mod and have put that down as one of the candidates, looks like I should go back and have second look, thanks a lot man I will look into it and hopefully that would solve all these filament cost and ABS not stick onto the print bed issue in one go. Thanks a lot!

Sweet! I thought it was the printer firmware itself that counts the remaining filament, right I will look into it. Also I have been thinking about raising the printer bed temperature for a while coz the sticking issue has been very annoying and so far what I've heard is either get some print bed tape or rise the print bed temperature, except I live too far away from the US so it will cost me an arm and a leg to ship some over, I guess some modded xyzware might do the trick.

Hey guys I am going to get a filament resetter for my DaVinci 1.0, and based on my research the firmware has to be lower than or equal to version "J", problem is I accidentally let it upgrade my printer to the latest firmware yesterday to 1.2.5 (see attached), and when I tried to downgrade it with the internet disabled the printer refused to accept the old firmware the simply says update failed on the LCD. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks a lot!!!
