I had this too. I solved it by setting a z-lift value of 1mm. Slows the print down but it solves the problem.

1.  Have you checked you vref values (especially for the Y axis).  If they're correct, then maybe turn it up just a little.

2.  Have you been able to catch it in the act?  It is probably getting stuck on a lump of plastic which is causing either the motor to miss steps of the belt to slip.  I think that part of the issue with the honeycomb is that it will take a long time to finish a layer, so very hard if there are any imperfections as the extruder travels back over the previous bits.  Maybe setup a webcam taking picture at 2 second interval so that you can review where it is getting stuck, if that's the issue.

The actual glass bed was moving around. Watch yours carefully while it's printing to see if this is happening to you.

Time to do some serious calibrating start at the WIKI the steps are pretty much the same for all printers.

Got exactly the same problem. Seems to be when printing the honeycomb pattern it looses it. The printer prints pretty fast doing it so I guess something goes wrong.

Bad sound and it did only move maybe one centimeter to the right.

]]> https://www.soliforum.com/user/9285/ 2015-03-01T13:51:29Z https://www.soliforum.com/post/87693/#p87693 <![CDATA[Re: Axis off and no grinding sound this time]]> You don't mention which axis off, but it looks like the Y axis.  Tighten the two set screws that hold the y pulley to motor.  Same thing happened to me a couple of times after a long print.  Try printing with the top open, that Y motor gets very hot, and I have added a fan to cool it by splicing into the led light wires.  After adding a fan, it no longer gets hot or skips...

No grinding sound or anything. I was watching the print and suddenly the printer started to print in the wrong spot.
