OK...... I had sort of the same problem I changed my extruder out and after I put everything back together, problems started. First I was getting error 0014 I think because my thermistor wires kept touching so I solved that problem, right after that I was getting the 0011 error and I think that ended up being the part that connects to the board, had a little bit of play between the connectors. I would say check where the thermistor plugs into the board and make sure it is in all the way and make sure the thermistor wires are not touching at all.

hi all,
a couple days ago I started having problems with my Davinci 1.0a (1.0.3) that seemed like thermistor issues. I use Simplify 3D, and the extruder T graph would jump up and down tens of degrees, or just get stuck at a value. I took out the extruder and it looked like I was getting a short in the thermistor wires right where they entered the hot end (this has come up on the forum before). I separated the wires and used some kapton to keep them apart. It worked fine last night, but then during an overnight print I got a 0011 error and now my extruder doesn't heat. S3D and the LCD panel say the extruder is 10C and bed is 25C, but both are at same T. I tried to heat using the LCD filament unload, but the monitor remained at 10C and the hot end never got warm. I went ahead and removed the heating element connector that usually seems to be the culprit, and wired it direct but no change. I also checked the voltage across the heating element wires, and it's 0 (or 0.01). Any ideas? Should there be voltage there? Could this still be a thermistor problem, or maybe the power supply? Any way to troubleshoot it?

as an aside, how can I remove the extruder assembly if I can't heat the hot end to pull out the filament?
thanks!
