So I think it's time for it go to a home where it could get some use.

So what's in the package:

1. Highly modified Solidoodle 3 (I've posted many threades about my mods).

  • RAMPS 1.4 w/ DRV8825  Extruder stepper driver (1/32).

  • 750W Server PSU w/ front, lighted Power Switch.

  • Graphic LCD controller.

  • Ball Screw and nut for Z drive.

  • Aluminum Print platform w/ full Copper Print bed and MK2A Heater.

  • GT2 belts, sprockets and idler pulleys.

  • Chrome hardened 8mm shafts.

  • Chrome hardened 6mm "Y" drive shaft w/ flanged bearings and Pillow Block.

  • Side opening Chain carrier for the print head wiring.

  • Custom "X" carriages w/ linear bearings.

  • Custom extruder carriage w/ linear bearings.

  • Custom "Y" motor belt tensioner.

  • Larger Extruder motor (Kysan 1124090).

  • 40W Heater cartridge for Hot end.

  • G-Code controlled Cooling fan & duct

It looks almost identical to this earlier version (Some additional mods to the print head (more efficient cooling)

2. At least 10 rolls of filament.  All ABS (was never a big fan of PLA), in various colors

Its been a while since I saw this forum!

We still have our old Solidoodle 2 sat in storage as we havent had the space to make use of it in years.

I remember we got it up and running with that (repeatier?) software did a few prints, but if I remember rightly, the printer head jammed. The printer head was all sealed up official like which put me off trying to open it to clean it out, but life got in the way before I got brave enough to try.

We've also got a couple of spools of PVA (blue and red I think)

Any offers considered.

Based in south London. I'll be heading downto the storage unit sometime this week so I can take some pics of it then,

But to be honest we didnt reallly know what we were doing - we did a few prints, but the machine jammmed - i believe the printer head is the issue ie its blocked - and ive never been confident enough to break the seal to check.

Either way, its been sitting in storage for a quite a few years now..  and I thought if anyone wanted to make an offer (we have a couple of rolls of printint spool too - red, white) I would love to know its not just gathering dust, sat in storage locker but out there working for someone who knowshow to make the most of it.

We are open to any offers-  and fyi we are based in London UK so whilst Id happily try and a ship it, if there is anyone local (ish) its here and collectable smile

Ps i can add take some pics next time Im down at the storage place - probably next week. And happy to answer any questions.

I know it cost us like 750 quid, but it would mean a lot to know if it is going to a better home..
