			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi, i have a da vinci 1.1 plus printer i inherited from my dad it prints perfectly and love it compared to my old printer - i am having troubles finding the firmware with open fillament enabled so i can use any brand filament- is there anyone that would have the download link? or a guide how to do it? i have the xyzfirmware flash tool and have tried doing as instructed on the pdf manual but do not have password for .zip file</p>]]></summary>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi guys,</p><p>I was gifted a new daVinci Color Mini with absolutely dry ink cartridge.<br />I am wondering, if I can print without using the ink cartridge. If not, is there a way to convert it to a regular monochromeprinter? <br />My brief research showed there was a 3rd party firmware for this printer.<br />Should I go for it?<br />Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.</p><p>Thanks in advance,<br />Tom</p>]]></summary>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Introduction and questions mini W+]]></title>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Well I seem to be over my head. I wanted to print some small items at home and saw this posted on marketplace. The seller did not tell me DaVinci is not supporting these printers anymore.</p><p>I have it attached to my Windows 11 system and installed Minimover. I used Chapt.gpt to make scad files wich I turned into STL and had Cura convert to gcode using settings Chatgpt suggested. I used Minimover to convert the gcode to .w but I have no idea how to get anything to the printer. Can someone point me to the import information for dummies?</p>]]></summary>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Flashed Repetier on Da Vinci 1.0 but its not working properly]]></title>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>As the title states i have flashed repetier on my Da Vinci 1.0 and I&#039;ve tested it but it did not go as planned. it is very technical and I don&#039;t learn well without hands-on work or someone there to tell me what I&#039;m doing wrong. it took more than a week to figure out how to flash it on the machine but now I&#039;m stuck at a point where the bed is raised up and the stepper motor I thing or one of the extruders motors it pulling it back even though it cant go any further from its rest point (where it dumps the excess plastic) and the bed is all the way up (i manually set it back down by twisting the center pole). A video or step by step instructions with pictures would really help but at this point I&#039;ll take any help as long as I can get back to printing. I should also clarify im on a macbook pro m1 2021 with parallels so i also have access to windows.</p><p>-Thanks.</p>]]></summary>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Da Vinci Super Firmware Update schlägt fehl]]></title>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hallo an die Gruppe,</p><p>ich habe einen Da Vinci Super mit der Firmware 1.1.2 und möchte diese auf 1.1.9 hochziehen. Die Update exe meldet Erfolgreich übertragen, im Drucker wird Firmware Update angezeigt mit 1%. Nach 10 Minuten steht das Update immer noch bei 1%.</p><p>Nach ausschalten und wieder einschalten, startet der Drucker normal und zeigt die alte Firmware an.</p><p>Ich habe noch *.bin Dateien und eine Version mit bootloader für die 1.1.7 die vermutlich auf einen USB Stick ziehen muss.</p><p>Firmware Updates bei anderen Geräten habe schon einige gemacht, aber der Drucker verhält sich atypisch.</p><p>Komme momentan nicht weiter, vielleicht könnt Ihr mir helfen.</p><p>Danke.</p>]]></summary>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Davinci Color Firmware & Tools]]></title>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Long story short, I bricked my Davinci Color.</p><p>The color, (which I have sitting on table right next to me), <em>doesn&#039;t</em> use a SAMD chip. Or a AVR chip.<br />It uses .. CSRQ5310C25G.</p><p>A Qualcomm (<em>duh duh duh</em>) printer chip. The &quot;Quatro™ 5300 Printer Platform&quot;.</p><p>I don&#039;t think there is a open soruce firmware for it?</p><p>There is a switch onboard. In the &quot;normal&quot; direction the printer bootloops (due to the messed up printer firmware), and doesn&#039;t show up as any sort of a USB device. However it is able to initialize some stepper drive, and spin the door latch.</p><p>In the &quot;alternative&quot; direction the printer doesn&#039;t initialize itself, but shows up as a USB &quot;inferno-printer&quot;, without a associated COM port.</p><p>The Color have two USB ports, &quot;host1&quot; and &quot;host2&quot;. Can I like, plug in a USB with firmware to have it flash itself?</p>]]></summary>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Open filament firmware on daVinci 1.1 Plus?]]></title>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Has anyone updated their daVinci 1.0 or 1.1 with the Open Filament Project firmware?<br />I was able to successfully updated the firmware but maybe I expected it to work like the Mini printer.</p><p>The printer doesn&#039;t seem to check the material of the model anymore and <br />it doesn&#039;t seem to check the remaining filament length anymore.<br />It does just print the model with the cartridge installed.</p><p>But I wasn&#039;t able to print without a cartridge though.<br />I can&#039;t seem to load filament without installing a cartridge and I can&#039;t take it out before printing.<br />Maybe my expectations were a bit too high....</p><p>I only have a iMac at work and created the model with the XYZWare for MacOS.<br />I created a model with XYZWare and used an USB stick to print it.</p><p>Was anyone able to print without a cartridge when using the Pro-e program on Windows?<br />Or do I maybe need to connect the printer to USB maybe?</p>]]></summary>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Two Black Bars On Screen After Printing]]></title>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>For the past few days I have sucessfully been printing on the Da Vinci 1.0a after retro fitting it with a E3D v5 hotend and using repetier firmware. </p><p>After the last print something really strange happend. </p><p>There was 49 min left on the last print, I went out for a bit and after I returned the print finished but there was two black bars on the screen. </p><p>The buttons made sounds when pressed, and the printer was functioning as far as I can tell by the sound it made when pressing home. I reflashed the firmware, and after the printer restarted after the reflash, made all the correct beeps, except, the LED did not come on, and the two black bars persists.</p><p>What can be the problem?</p><p>Thanks in advance for any help</p>]]></summary>

			<summary type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hello, I received a DaVinciDuo2.0 as a gift and wanted to flash it with the Repetier software so that I can also process normal filaments. <br />So far so good.<br />I followed the instructions to upgrade the printer to Repetier-Firmware-0.92 based for Da Vinci printer. <br />So reset via J37 and so on.<br />But after finish an the reset the Printer, my Windows computer no longer recognizes this COM port and I get the error ‘unknown device’.<br />Is this a known error, who can help?</p>]]></summary>
