Topic: Any hard calibration before I can print?

Hi all, I was wondering if there is any need for calibration  before I can start printing on the Solidoodle 2 Base. Is a power supply included in the package? Thanks!

Re: Any hard calibration before I can print?

I'm getting my printer in about a week or two, but from my knowledge it does come with a power supply, and to see if you need any calibration you would just need to start a print and see what needs tuning. smile

Do the Z stop calibration before you try to print anything, just for safety's sake to prevent any chance of crashing the extruder into the build platform.

The rest of the listed calibrations will improve your results.

Hi HaroldDavid, Like Leghk said first check the Z tab the only other know issue is the extrusion rate is usually about 30 percent over but it is best to check all the calibrations just to be on the safe side smile
