Topic: Images to 3d Model sites

I have a picture of my kid I wish to make into a 3d print. From what I've found there are services such as :

embossify.com

and

fiverr.com/digdan/create-3d-meshes-of-a-photo

Are there any other sites that do this? Can I do this myself for free?
Any suggestions are greatly welcomed
