So far there isn't much Solid that can be done with 3D printed guns - it's something to watch out for in the future, as it may bring up some moral issues.

can make guns with a lathe or a mill as well, its only a bit of pipe with a handle and a firing pin after all..

where the worry is with printed guns, they will not trigger metal detectors.. that could be a huge issue

Stoney the amunition probably would however
2 of the companies with a stake in stratus are gun manufacturers think they may have a desire to keep the designs out of public view?

very very few metal detectors will trigger on a bullet or two.
i use electronic cigarettes, one of the most common is probably twice the size of a big bullet like a 3030, its a stainless steel tube maybe 100mm long, i know for a fact that airport metal detectors do not find it in the majority of cases.

Not to mention there are all manner of non metallic projectiles to be used.
