Topic: Electronics Cover

There was no way I was going to wait for Solidoodle to post up their design. I also wanted some specific features like magnetic mounting and support for fans.

This cover has been designed to be very robust. Giving it a firm whack with my fist doesn't seem to trouble it at all. I would have preferred a tighter fit for the cable exits, but they are a wild beast to tame.

There are two slots for 30x30x6mm fans. You might need to trim the case slightly to get them in, it's a tight fit. After that, I simply wires the two fans together with a connector, which was added to the power in terminals for the electronics. Every time the power goes on, the fans go on too.

Re: Electronics Cover

Very nicely done lawsy. Thanks for the design. One more thing I will have to add.

SD2 - Glass Bed, Fans on PCB and Y motor, Custom enclosure
Slicer - Simplify3D

Re: Electronics Cover

That 's really nice.  The only other thing I would need is a slot for the SDSL.
