Topic: Suggestion: More detailed (sub)forums

Recently, a lot of people have been double-posting or commenting that they haven't been able to find answers to common topics because they are no obvious keywords.  How about breaking up some of the forums into more specific topics to make them easier to browse?  Some suggestions include:

  • Case / enclosure mods

  • Extruder issues and mods (clogs, calibration, etc)

  • Z-axis issues and mods (banding, z-wobble, etc)

  • Y-axis issues and mods (binding, stair-stepping, y-wobble, etc)

  • Control board issues and mods (replacing drivers, calibrating, etc)

  • Bed issues and mods (adhering prints, calibration, glass, heaters, etc)

  • Finishing mods (smoothing, tumbling, etc)

  • Filament

  • Model-specific issues (how to print)

  • Software issues / help

  • Other issues and mods

Ideally, there would be a way to move existing topics into the new forums.

Re: Suggestion: More detailed (sub)forums

I've suggested subforums in the repair section.  The problem is that first time visitors with questions just post in the first place they can find, or the forum with the most activity and don't pay attention to subjects.
