SoliForum Community Guidelines
April 11th, 2013

These are a set of guidelines that outline how SoliForum is run, and how we may deal with certain situations. The text of these guidelines will be enforced in the spirit of the text, not necessarily as it is written.

What is SoliForum?

SoliForum is a independent community created to share ideas and creations that others can reproduce and improve on. It is also a place to help others and receive assistance with 3D printers and other closely related subjects. You may also buy, sell, or trade physical things with other members of the community, such as, but not limited to, printer parts, filament, software, kits, and complete units, but know that you assume all the risks that are associated with transactions with other members.

What SoliForum is NOT

SoliForum is not owned or operated by Solidoodle, and as such is not an official forum. SoliForum and community members are not responsible for any damages that may occur when performing modifications or repairs on your equipment when following advice or guides shared here, and is not warrantied in any way. It is also not a place to join solely to advertise/promote your business and products while providing no educational value to the community. We welcome businesses who want to contribute to the community, and they are rewarded with the ability to create a thread in the Buy/Sell/Trade section to promote their products. SoliForum is not the place to start trouble, or make derogatory/racist/hateful remarks to other community members.

Forum access is a privilege, not a right. Violating these guidelines, or conduct that forum staff and/or membership find is against the spirit of SoliForum, may result in a temporary or permanent account suspension.

If you have any questions about these guidelines, or about the spirit of SoliForum, feel free to contact a forum staff member, or myself.
