Topic: MFI questions of a beginner

I'm new to the forum and to the subject.
I did a lot reading and the main thing I got is that the higher the MFI - the better.

I just talked with a local plastic supplier which claimed that high flow (talked about 33. the highest he got) means bubbles.
As far as I read, MG94 have high MFI and I see people are extruding it all the time.

So - before I buy a 25kg of plastic I might not be able to use (MG94 is not available around here):

1. Is there any other important thing I have to check, other than MFI?
2. Do we really need as high MFI as we can get?
3. Can we get a nice flow of plastic without bubbles with high MFI?

Re: MFI questions of a beginner

MFI is a measurement of how easy the polymer flows, so it is therefore correlated to extrusion speed. Higher is better, within reason, but not necessary.

Have not experienced any bubbles with MG94.

thanks for the answer

If I can't get my hands on MG94 - what should I look at the specs of other abs? only MFI, or is there something else that matters?

Just about any ABS will work, several are reviewed in this sub forum.
