Topic: Da Vinci Jr. Cheapest place to get Official PLA in the UK?

Where is the cheapest place to buy the official pla for the da vinci jr. in the UK and can you get solid colours rather than the clear ones?

Are the cartridges compatible between all models? I noticed this but not sure it will work with the Jr.

I've used Ebuyer for my PLA, their pictures are not always correct and if you order "Blue" you get "Clear Blue" and it was a pain to get a refund as they didn't get it that they were mis-selling Blue.

I also have used DABS ... now BT.com shop they are a similar price to Ebuyer, occasionally ebuyer have special offers on that make it worth getting from them but BT has a cheaper postage rate.

DON'T GET  IT FROM ARGOS £34 !!!

It's worth checking Amazon too...

Other colours currently a bit more, it's also worth using the camel price compare site: http://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/XYZprinti … B00WHQ9XRQ to compare the current price against the historical prices.

Apols. if this is a bit off topic but there seems to be 2 types of xyz PLA - I'm not sure of the implications of using the other slightly cheaper xyz branded PLA (eg: https://www.amazon.co.uk/XYZprinting-RF … inting+pla suitable for: da Vinci 1.0A, da Vinci 2.0A Duo, da Vinci 1.0 AiO, da Vinci 1.0 Pro, da Vinci 1.0 Pro 3-in-1).

I'm keeping with the recommended Junior PLA (suitable for da Vinci Junior, da Vinci Junior 1.0w & da Vinci Mini) unless otherwise advised that it's ok.

Maybe someone else has tried or knows the differences?

I think the Davinci Pro 1.0 PLA reels don't have the NFC chip with them so they won't work with the Jr. I think the Pro uses a slightly different system.
