Topic: Any 3D Freelancers?

Greetings,

I'm new to the 3D scene having just purchased a 3D printer, mainly just testing the waters.

While I would eventually like to learn about 3D modeling and working with programs like blender, it just isn't possible right now with my crazy work schedule.

What I'm looking for is this - I have a very simple logo for my home business and I would like to turn this into a 3D model that could be printed.  I would like to be able to print one part in black pla and the other part in white pla, and then be able to connect the two sections together.  I can provide more details and the actual logo file, but first I just wanted to check to see if there were anyone here who would be interested in doing something like this.

Thanks,

Bryna

Bryan:

I teach some 3d printing and design at a local maker space. IMHO 123d design from autodesk is the best way to start learning 3d design >and it is free for non commercial use.
Should be easy enough to import a SVG file and turn it into a 3d logo.
So download and take a look at 123d design and if it is too intimidating send me some more info and i will take a crack at it I am always trying to push the envelope. .

Re: Any 3D Freelancers?

Thanks Tin,

I'll certainly download 123D and take a look at it.  It's not that I don't want to learn 3D modeling, because I do and I will.  Just right now I've got my plate full between my full time job, a home business and taking care of my family and my elderly mother.  Just not enough hours in the day at the moment.  lol.

I'll send you a PM with my logo design and what I'm trying to achieve and you can tell me what your thoughts are.

Thanks,

B.

Re: Any 3D Freelancers?

Hi Brian,
I have read your advert, I work as 3D modeler preparing objects and figures for 3d printing.

Have done many different type of projects, got experience on object assembly.

If you require 3d modeling assistance, I have very razonable prizes.
Should you wish to see any example of my work I would be pleased to show them to any of the following internet addresses:

So are you shaving costs or the customer???

Seriously though  , I know misspelled words and  grammar errors are common on forums and I am not a perfect wordsmith .
However If you are trying to make a fantastic first impression and come across as a professional , IMHO You failed.
You not only Misspelled "Reasonable " But misspelled the  potential customers name.

Respectfully

If the fellows here can't help you, Google 3D Hubs. They do this sort of thing too.

Re: Any 3D Freelancers?

No doubt I'm late but I work as a "architechtural visualiser" making 3D models of almost anything inside of 3Ds Max, I've made and printed many of my own things, if anybody is interested in questions then I'm happy to help and if you'd ever want an .STL or model making then I'd be willing to hear.

Attached a few of the larger things I've modelled and printed, sorry if the image sizes are too large.

Re: Any 3D Freelancers?

If you require 3d modeling assistance, I can advise the site where I bought something similar to https://www.flatpyramid.com/3d-models/e … s/thinker/

It was my first experience, after I  became involved in buying a 3D printer by myself. Attempts to do something like this were failed, and one of the materials was a polylactic acid. The idea is good, but this material is not quite suitable.
