Topic: A master reference of the world's filaments?

Is there such a thing. like a big spreadsheet, showing (and sorting/filtering) by property with specs?

Re: A master reference of the world's filaments?

filaments.directory has been in the beta phase for a long time now. There is no comprehensive list of all the filaments and suppliers around the world. I think such a directory would take a long time to make and would need constant updating.

However, there is a long list of filament suppliers on the Reprap wiki page here: http://reprap.org/wiki/Printing_Material_Suppliers

Hope this helps

Re: A master reference of the world's filaments?

Thanks guys. What I like about the fialments.directory is you can look for a filament by properties.

Re: A master reference of the world's filaments?

Hi everyone,

I'm the founder of Filaments.directory.

I'm interested into getting more information about your feedback.

It's the beginning of the project. In the US, I reference 3D-Fuel, 3DOM, Proto Pasta, All Professional 3D, Ninjaflex,Taulman and Type A Machines.

What brand do I have to add for US/Canada ?

Thanks

Cheers

Octave is highly reliable, though I believe they are based in Canada.
I am new to MakerGeeks (Missouri) but I like my first and current spool of PLA and I trust reports of their ABS.
While I have never tried extruded filament by Revolve3D, I love their pellets for home extrusion and their customer supprt is one of the highest in the land.

Printit Mason and Printit Horizon printers
Multiple SD2s- Bulldog XL, E3D v5/v6/Lite6, Volcano, Hobb Goblin, Titan, .9 motor, Lawsy carriages, direct Y drive, fishing line...the list goes on
Filawinder and Filastruder #1870.....worth every penny!
