Hello 3D Printers!

My team and I are working on a project called MakerX, which will attach to your 3D printer. http://makerx.io

We want to make something everyone will find useful. Please check out our 5 minute survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1NBrk3h … 8/viewform

All feedback is welcomed!

Here's a sample print we did with our prototype MakerX's time lapse feature:

Makerx- You are flooding the site with identical posts, please stop this.
If you are genuinely trying to advertise, please do so in the Buy/Sell/Trade area of the forum. You will find users are more receptive with honesty.

Still under development and consideration, but the idea would be that if smoke were detected it would turn the power off on the printer through a remotely controlled power mechanism. Of course you would want to go put out a fire if it happened. It wouldn't have a fire extinguisher. Notification and power down are just initial steps.

I apologize I did not mean to do that. I've removed the redundant posts. I'm mostly looking for feedback rather than advertisement. smile

There's no harm in looking for feedback. But it usually backfires on campaniles/agents mass posting. Generally, users see that as a blatant spammer and turn away.

Thank you for the good faith.
