Topic: 3d printing service options: bureau vs DIY

Hi Everyone,

For my new business, I'll be rapid prototyping a wide range of  parts and models for architects and building contractors and was would like to know if I should leave it in the hands of a 3d printing service provider  like axisproto.com or use a DIY service like  Shapeways? I was debating this with a 3d printing hobbyists who had a  preference for  getting his prototypes that need a  lot of customization and tweaks through DIY but he also used  a 3d printing company for items that needed quick delivery and/or had simple geometric shapes
