Topic: Solidoodle 2 Pro w/upgrades - $250

Time to sell my ole trusty Solidoodle 2. This was my first 3D printer ever, purchased two years ago. Serial number 0095, this bad boy is a piece of Solidoodle history! Not only that, but it is a piece of Filastruder history too, as it prototyped all the parts for the alpha, beta, and release Filastruders - then went on to print hundreds of hoppers for the Kickstarter fulfillment. Note that this has been run hard - expect to spend 30 minutes upon arrival cleaning and lubricating rods, etc.

Re: Solidoodle 2 Pro w/upgrades - $250

No. How would that make sense? It includes what's in the list under includes, and you can optionally add on the things under optional add-ons.

Therefore, it comes with two Solidoodle hotends, one of which is installed already.

Also there's no need to quote a large post when you're the only reply in the thread.

I think you should keep this for the Filastruder museum...

Actually, nothing special. I have a deltaprintr and press on the way. I just don't need 4 printers, and I'd rather someone else make use of this one.

Is it still for sale?

I edit my posts a lot.

Re: Solidoodle 2 Pro w/upgrades - $250

Is this still for sale?

I'm literally brand spanking new to 3d printing, just messing around building an extruder and I have one of those 3d pens...lol

Is this something I could get working being so new to the hobby? I mean, I'm assuming it runs fine, but you said it needs cleaned and greased...is that a difficult process?

I'm extremely interested, I want a budget printer and from what I've found this is a really good deal.

Re: Solidoodle 2 Pro w/upgrades - $250

It's as good as anything else you'd find in the price range. I'd recommend an E3Dv6 to replace Solidoodle's questionable hotend, but other than that it's in good shape.

Re: Solidoodle 2 Pro w/upgrades - $250

so if buyer of the printer dont take the E3Dv6 would it be available at same price by itself? and could I add a Bowden kit to it?

Nope, that price is for a package deal.

They're available separately through the link in my signature.

EDIT: Sold.
