Topic: justpla brand ?

As most of you know  I am fairly new and excited about 3_d printing. I have an SD4 and am getting some good prints. I am fortunate to have experienced friends one put me onto color fabb and a almost close by dealer. CF is great stuff and are offering interesting options.

Now I am looking to buy another roll or two of filament I am wondering of more economic but quality options.

I stumbled on the justpla brand and checked out there web page

http://www.justpla.com/index.php?route= … on/pricing

Single roll pricing $ 29.99 for a 1 kilo roll.
                       2    $27.99 ea
                       3+  $25.99
                       10 +$24.99 ea

these prices include tax and shipping (I expect lower 48 USA only)

And ABS users do not despair they sell abs at the same pricing schedule.

So my question what experience have folks here had with this web site. how does this stuff print shipping times customer service. etc  for a $4 per roll savings and having little filament I am tempted to buy 3 rolls
at that price I am paying about 1/2 the money per gram vs the colorfabb

So what is the experience of the collective.

Re: justpla brand ?

I had it. $35 for a roll was expensive but quality was SUPER.
I wonder why they had exact same filament sold on amazon (where i bought mine) for $29.99. Was in any different ?
No one specifying the difference so i bought filastruder and enough with buying filament.

Re: justpla brand ?

You can find it on Amazon for $19-20 a spool. I am on the last bit of a black ABS roll I bought to try out. I would say it's not as good as the $31 spools of Octave, but I'll be buying more.

Can't argue with a $19 kg spool!

E3D-v4 Hotend, MK5 carriage with round plastic wire conduit , 3/16" tempered glass,  Well nut, SureStepr SD8825 1/32 Extruder Driver, PowerEdge 2650 500W PS, QU-BD heated bed, circuit board fan, hinged plexiglass enclosure with plastic tray top. Other than that mostly stock SD3

Re: justpla brand ?

Strange that you on this forum and have not bought your self filastruder yet.
Your filament cost would go down ALLOT !!!

Re: justpla brand ?

Maybe because amount of time he'd spend acquiring it would go up a lot... tongue
Currently I for one place a rather high value on time. Much as I'd love to play with a filastruder, I'm not sure I need one more project when I can't seem to find an hour a week to finish any others!! The printer chews up enough as it is... smile

Re: justpla brand ?

I Placed my first order Monday from justpla.com & received it Friday even after choosing free shipping & i live in Pa! I ordered a Kg of 1.75mm Red ABS. Their filament is great IMO. while printing it is Salmon in color but after it cools darkens up just like on the spool. IMO You won't be disappointed one bit. Compared to the 43$ SD wants for their filament you can't go wrong, unlike SD filament which doesn't dissolve in acetone justpla filament does.
