I must be rubbing off on you wink. Next thing you know you'll be doing some crazy mod to increase your speeds.

Printit Industries Model 8.10 fully enclosed CoreXY, Chamber heat
3-SD3's & a Workbench all fully enclosed, RH-Slic3r Win7pro, E3D V6, Volcano & Cyclops Hot End
SSR/500W AC Heated Glass Bed, Linear bearings on SS rods. Direct Drive Y-axis, BulldogXL
Thanks to all for your contributions

Hmm I wonder what mods would it take to print faster with the same quality...

Re: Creepy Angel in woodfill

Things that improve rigidity will let you print faster with good quality-

Lawsy's carriages so you can replace the wobbly teflon blocks with linear bearings
Beefed up front idler pulley mounts to reduce wobble in Y
Zip tie the extruder motor to the carriage if it isn't already so the extruder can't wobble on the carriage.

You already have an E3D so you can boost the temperature 10C so the ABS can melt fast enough to keep up.
Also a nozzle fan will let you print small layers at speed rather than slow down for cooling.

I have also found replacing the belts with really tight Suffix 80 lb test pretty much eliminates backlash.  This really helped with speed considering the additional mass of the Bulldog XL.  Bearings and more bearings help a ton also wink
