Topic: Uploading images from iPad or iPhone

Still upset how much work this takes... I'm not near a PC this weekend so uploading an image becomes quite a chore...

Email each photo to myself, RDP to a pc from my phone or iPad open email and save files, connect to forum in a pc browser, then write my message and upload my pics as I would from a pc...

There must be a better way.

I guess I found a way that will work, it's still not ideal working with this forum from an iPhone but I think the image uploading will at least work, it's still more steps than I'd like when compared to forum packages that support native apps.

Photobucket app allows posting to their site via an app and allows you to grab the URL of that image to embed here, the overall experience is still extra steps.

There should be a few apps you can use to host images and spit out a link, its too bad the ipad/iphone dont allow uploads directly from safari.

Being that for this hobby a lot of pictures is a good idea, it's really too bad the overall experience with this software is not as good as a few others.

I use the photobucket app to upload pictures from my phone

Yeah, I figured that out too, spending most of your time on native mobile apps and then having to settle for a process tha works but is more cumbersome is just a little disappointing.

I like to complain a lot, I'm sorry.

I think we should try and get google groups people over here, so info is all in one place

I don't know if you know this, but in iOS 6 there will be possible to upload images in Safari

I read that, and I just haven't had the chance to use it yet.  It will make this experience tolerable, hopefully more people can post images.

Now if only this board would automatically embed uploaded images or at least make it easy to do so.  I wonder if there is a plugin or setting for that.  At least thumbnails of uploaded images would be nice.
