A german designer has created an eco alternative to traditional Selective Laser Sintering. The Solar Sinter machine uses two natural resources sun and sand to produce physical 3d models from 3d CAD data.

His name was kayser in the video, that sounds german enough.  Looks cool, sand yoda would have been cooler.
