Hi, new member from Sweden here (Linköping).
Got a couple of tags running low at about 50m left. Wouldn't mind an early swap for testing third party filaments. Would be great if the person I swap with could program the tag since I have zero experience with NFC programming.

I just request a stamped envelope with your adress, an european rapid stamp for the deal and your tag (not locked of course)

hey guys, I'm new to this but I have read some of the posts and unlocked my first tag today thanks to the password provided by Bozot and some interesting things happened. The tag I unlocked was the yellow demo tag that came with the printer, the printer read the tag showed it had 200m but wouldn't print. (that was to be expected) but if you press the printer monitor button immediately after pressing print the printer won't transmit the data and the screen just comes up with a txt box saying printer error but the tag is still recognized by the printer and shows 200m instead of showing the cartridge not recognized message. Also after trying the unlocked tag I tried to use another locked but empty tag ( I didn't know you weren't suppose to run them to 0m ) that I have read the data from but I'm still waiting for a password, and the printer shows it having 9999m and when you click the info button the tag has no printing material, colour or serial number information. (pictures attached) When you try and print instead of showing the no filament message I get the not genuine message even though the tag has not been altered only read. not sure if any of this is useful but I'm trying to understand how all this works.
I do have two tags that I would like to swap i'm in Australia (the one with the Kangaroos)
Hello everyone, I'm new to all this and would like to be added to the list in the first post. I'm from Sweden, Stockholm and I don't print so much and for now I only have the 100 m orange filament that came along with the da vinci mini w printer but I plan on buying a 2,3 kg spool later and then it would be good to know that someone is able to swap their chip with me.

I'm finally printing the last meters on one of my rolls and it will go empty later today so I'm (really soon) ready to swap an NFC tag. Password and PACK is know for the tag and I can reset it to 200m or 300m before sending it. In my experience 300m does not play well with the MacOS version of XYZware so I would recommend 200m but will do 300m if requested.

What's the relationship between OsX and NFC tags?
I have a Mac, and i only printed 300 m tags. i've never found any problem... should i?

That's weird. For me the MacOS version of XYZware doesn't like 300m-tags. It says 300m/0m and refuses to print, doesn't even send the print to the printer. Windows version of XYZware (running in Parallells) does print with 300m-tags. However, once, with the emutag I was able to print with a 300m-tag in MacOS but then I hade printed once in Windows version first and then switched to MacOS version and did another print and it worked. Next time though, it refused again. Not sure if it makes a difference if I use USB-cable or print with Wifi. Maybe it does?
Also I suppose maybe it depends on if it's a Mini or Jr? I have a Mini w. Also I suppose printing to a Jr using an SD-card (which is not possible on the Mini) will make a difference.
EDIT: I'm using the latest version of XYZware. To be honest I haven't tried with the latest version but at least the previous version refused printing with 300m-tag.

That's a very good info. I make my 3w files with osx XyzWare, then i modify it's temperature if needed, and at last i send the files to the printer via SD, so you are right... SDCard FTW!.
If you need them i have some older XYZWare versions (mac & Win):

That makes sense. The printer accepts 300m rolls, it's the MacOS version of XYZware that does not. It's not really an issue for me though as I still have a LOT of genuine XYZprinting filament left and also I have an emutag and with the current number of known uid-password-pack combes I can use reset it to 200m so many times that I will likely never run out if usable UIDs.

How do you modify the temperature? I thought it only was possible to change temperature by changing the colour on the NFC tag? I have a mini, maybe it's only possible for Jr?

I see you have a mini.
Did you run it down to 0m - empty?
It has been seen that sometimes the mini will lock the cards when it thinks they are empty - rendering them useless.

Yes - and - no!
The mini does not accept modified cards - once it sees the card if the length increases it will reject it.
You will be able to get the password and change it - but it will be of no use to you.
You have 2 options that I can see:
1) Tag Swap a non locked card (Don't run it down to 0m)
2) Buy an EMUTAG.
I'm willing for swap 1 or 2 TAGS with someone, i'm located in Europe. I don't care about distances.
