Topic: What is this?

What is that on the electrical diagram is it the t-couple or the heater? Also where does it go? The PDF for the filastruder makes no reference as to where it goes. It seems to have a hot and a ground polarity but the heater band that goes near the nozzle seems to have no polarity leaving me to think that the object in the picture is the t-couple. Any ideas?

Object in photo is thermocouple. It is mentioned in the instructions, yellow plug goes to PID controller, probe goes to hole in the side of the nozzle.

Re: What is this?

i have used teflon tape on mine, if you dont have access to Kapton, just wrap it three times around. As well, I couldn't get it to fit into the control box so I took it apart and carefully noted which was pos and neg. Then it was simple to put the wires under the screws.
