Re: Sestor Setting

I believe you mean the Sestos PID controller. Here's how you calibrate it

For the SESTOS PID, press and hold the SET key until the PV changes to HIAL, then press the SET key multiple times until you see CtrL, then press the down arrow once to set it to 2 instead of 3. Then, hold the SET key until you return to the main temperature readout (Once you get to the EP's (EP1-8), you're close) and you will see that the SV will be blinking between a number and
"At". This means that it is autotuning and you should now leave it alone until it stops blinking

Be sure to set to your preferred temp which can be done set pressing one of the arrows then press set. You will need to have the fan running while autotuning to ensure you have an accurate reading during normal operation. An actual temp setting will vary depending on the user, polymer being used, etc. Personally I use 190c

Printit Mason and Printit Horizon printers
Multiple SD2s- Bulldog XL, E3D v5/v6/Lite6, Volcano, Hobb Goblin, Titan, .9 motor, Lawsy carriages, direct Y drive, fishing line...the list goes on
Filawinder and Filastruder #1870.....worth every penny!

Re: Sestor Setting

That's for autotuning. He accidentally changed one of the settings that are stored in memory (thinks like thermocouple type, etc), but I got him back up and running via email, as the factory defaults are what works properly.
