Topic: Questions that the PDF dont answer, Version 2.0

I can not find a set of pics or a good video about how to assemble, I searched for a FB Filastruder users group with non luck, I hope the creator or other experimented users willcan answer some questions that will be appearing in the assembly process.

- In manual say I have to thight manually the bolts that hold alum mainframe, wood spacers and pipe:

IN What moment I have to Thight the bolts using a tool, and what pressure have I to apply?

- Once assembled the pipe in the frame and the gearmotor in the frame:

The 1 to 2 cm of axial movement will decrease in the next assembly stages? how much has to be the final axial move?

- The thermocouple probe, there is not instructions:

HOW to fix the probe in the tip hole?

- The heater, in some pics is in the extreme near the filament uxtruder hole, in other are near the pipe:

WHAT is the better position to thight the Heater?

I have stopped the assembly until I have responses for

Thanks in advance

The bolts don't have to be very tight, a few N-M is fine, or like 1 finger on a wrench.

Axial movement should be 1-2mm, not cm. During assembly and final.

Best to use Kapton tape to secure the thermocouple. This is discussed in the electrical section of the instructions.

I've always placed the heater in the middle of the coupling. I don't think it matters much, though.

I assembled the filastruder to use it vertically

I pushed the auger towards the motor and adjusted the hex socket 1-2 mm slide back:

The problem is when I put vertically the extruder the auger down and happens this:

There is almost 5mm of slide movement cause the gravity take down the auger and the bearing section dont touch.
I tried to adjust the hex socket more to the motor side but the auger come out of the couple barrel.

This is fine, as soon as you run it once the pressure of the plastic will more than counteract gravity. Thrust force is about 200lbs.
