Topic: Davinci duo sd card without pc

Just finally starting to get around to using my davinci.  I am a busy person OCD among other conditions so I finally got around to unboxing my davinci.  Already out of warranty so any modding no matter.
I pulled the sd card out and looked at the gcode, and going to fit my print code in between the header and footers as some youtube videos show.
My question is.  Do you need to have it connected to the computer if your straight feeding your files from the sample files your replace with using the sample file names?
I hope I make sense.
- Name my print file with the sample01 file and give the original smaple01 file another name.
Is that the right procedure?

Please let me know.

It does not need a pc connected to print sample files. It may complain though since it cannot call home for updates.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
