Topic: Da Vinci 1.0 AiO - any rivals that can scan too?

Hi all.
I have read reviews (both good and bad) about the da Vinci 1.0 AiO and I really like the fact that it can scan items too. Please can I ask if there are any similarly priced rivals that can scan too? Relaxing Music free download

I had one.

The scanner is absolute rubbish.

You'd do better to buy separate machines.    The Atlas scanner that is represented on this forum is a great example of a stand alone scanner.

I started a business a few years back with DaVinci machines.    I wish I had just jumped right into RepRap machines right away.    The DaVinci stuff is... ok... if you don't know any better...    You can do a lot better for the price without all the aggro.

Hi.
I was interested in the DaVinci....but now I'm put off.
Please can I ask what printer and scanner I could buy for the same cost?

Also, any thoughts on this?

The one you posted is $2500 if I was going to spend that I would be looking at a Ultimaker. Or the PRINTiT 8.10 Core XY 3D for less than $2000.
