Topic: XYZ da Vinci 1.1 Plus not printing

I have had the above printer for about six months and had few problems with it.

HOWEVER: in the last couple of weeks it has decided that the filament does not want to come out when trying to print. It will come out when loading the filament and it will start the small test section on the RHS of the bed, but then it just starts to 'chunter' and no filament comes out when it tries to print - see video attached.

I have tried all sorts of filament, installing/uninstalling until I'm blue in the face, I've replaced the extruder (at great cost) but have had no joy. Of course the XYZ help online is about as useful as a chocolate teapot so I am now asking all the knowledgeable people here for help as my knowledge is very limited.

After days of/weeks with this problem, I posted on this forum. After posting, I read the other comments and saw that others had the same thing and that the bed was too high.
I didn't believe this would be the case as I had calibrated the bed many times - however I threw caution to the wind and just lowered all three bed adjustments AND DIDN'T RECALIBRATE.
It is working perfectly now! Thanks to all that have posted previously - I was about to throw the thing out of the window!!! smile
